Service Description

Objective: To teach the basics of sewing to passionate, dedicated individuals who want to learn how to operate their sewing machine and learn how to read beginner sewing patterns. You will learn about various fabrics, stitches, how to read patterns, quick fix alterations, and leave with a few completed projects! The purpose of this class is to help individuals become comfortable in operating their machine, troubleshooting problems when necessary and building the confidence to sew garments using patterns and upcycling techniques. What you need to provide (in class): A sewing machine in working order Needles for your machine – Heavy duty/denim, Universal & Stretch One blazer in need of zhooshing One T shirt that needs altering What I will provide: Basic sewing kit Cotton fabric for hot pad and apron Patterns Buttons for blazers
